Cookies and storage

Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Alongside them, we use equivalent technologies such as the browser's local storage (localStorage). They help the site work, remember preferences and understand how the Service is used.

2. How we use them

We use the cookies and storage strictly necessary for the Service to work and a minimal first-party analytics. In addition, if you accept via the cookie banner ("Accept all"), third-party advertising measurement tags (Google and Meta) described in the table below are loaded; without that consent, those tags are not installed. Technical cookies and those responding to a user request are exempt from the prior-consent requirement.

3 bis. Local storage and installable app (PWA)

Besides cookies, we use the browser's local storage (localStorage) for strictly functional, first-party purposes, with no profiling or advertising: saving your invitation draft while you create it, remembering the names you chose, remembering that a tutorial was already seen, and keeping the current offer countdown in your browser. The site can be installed as an app (PWA): in that case the browser stores a local copy of pages and files (service worker) so it loads faster and works on weak connections. All of this can be erased by clearing the site's browsing data. The third-party advertising trackers (Google, Meta) described in section 3 are only loaded if you accept non-essential cookies in the banner; you can use the entire Service without accepting them.

4. Third-party services

Some invitations and pages load third-party resources that may set their own cookies or receive your IP address when serving the content:

These third parties process data under their own privacy policies. We recommend reading them.

5. How to manage them

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies from our cookie banner, and change your decision at any time by clearing the site's storage. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies:

Blocking technical cookies may affect how the Service works.

6. Changes

We will update this policy whenever the cookies we use change. Please also see the Privacy Policy. Contact: contact@matrimonio.pro.
